'Midnight Wisteria’ is an original, one-of-a-kind piece that I’ve painted by hand using dyes on 100% silk. One of the magical qualities of this piece is how it shifts depending on the light, angle and side you place it – as you move, the colors and textures subtly change, creating a dynamic and captivating effect.

The hand-rolled edges add a final personal touch, making this piece truly unique.

You can display this silk painting framed as artwork, or wear it as a luxurious scarf to carry a piece of nature’s beauty with you. 

You can frame your silk painting using a standard frame to suit your style and space. For best results:

  • Choose a Frame with a Mat: A mat adds a professional touch and prevents the silk from pressing directly against the glass.
  • Avoid Direct Contact with Glass: Place a spacer or use UV-protective acrylic glazing to protect the silk and prevent moisture buildup.
  • Consult a Professional Framer: For optimal results, consider taking your silk artwork to a professional framer experienced with delicate textiles.

This gives you the flexibility to showcase your silk art in a way that complements your personal aesthetic.

I also offer the option to mount it on a wood panel with a floating frame. Please note that this delicate process may take up to 15 days to complete before shipping.

I ship worldwide from London, UK. Please note that customs fees may apply upon delivery, and it is the buyer's responsibility to cover these fees. All my originals are carefully packed by me. FREE delivery is available for all originals, or you can upgrade to include a tracking number and insurance.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR SILK PAINTINGS

  • Washing: Gently hand wash in cool water with mild, non-detergent soap. Do not soak or use bleach.

  • Drying: Lay flat to air dry. Avoid direct sunlight.

  • Ironing: Iron on a low setting with a cloth between the iron and the silk. Use steam gently if needed.

  • Framing/Display: Avoid damp or humid environments. Handle with care when worn as a scarf to prevent snags.

  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, ideally in a fabric bag to protect from moisture.
