Sun, Moon, Earth is an original mixed media painting, a cyanotype printed with jasmine leaves and blossom gathered from my own garden, its circle holding sun and moon in constant transition, as if morning and night were caught meeting at the same moment.
Warm yellow spills across the top like early morning light, jasmine leaves and petals silhouetted against it, while soft pink gathers beneath, marking the slow turn into dusk. At the centre, pale blue and gold overlap where sun and moon cross paths, neither fully arriving nor fully leaving.
This piece is a meditation on the earth's quiet rhythm, on the light we grow by and the darkness that follows it, on sun, moon and earth moving together in their endless exchange.
