Mini Koi Pond is one of the first pieces created using a new technique I’ve been exploring during 2024. Painted with dyes on silk and mounted on a 20 cm round wood panel (1.8 cm thickness), this small but striking artwork features a koi fish swimming amidst lotus leaves, with a delicate cherry blossom reflection above.

The koi, with its fluid motion, symbolizes calm and serenity, while the floating lotus leaves add a sense of harmony.

This piece represents a special moment in my creative process, where I’m exploring the balance between abstraction and nature. It’s a reflection of my evolving journey, and I’m excited to share it with you.
