Four Elements, Original Art | Ingrid Sanchez
Four Elements is an original mixed media painting, cyanotype blue meeting gold in a spiral of feathers, ferns and ginkgo leaves that circles inward toward a warm, glowing centre, as if the four directions themselves had been drawn down onto paper.
Moving through the surface, feathers fan out like a compass rose across deep indigo, dandelion seeds scatter like stars caught mid drift, and clusters of shells and stones settle quietly where the circle centres, holding the earth even as the piece reaches toward sky.
Together, the elements and directions turn around one another in balance, a symbol that sits at the heart of the women's circles I hold at La Casita, and this piece carries that same sense of ceremony and community.
