Garden Strata, Original Art | Ingrid Sanchez

Garden Strata is a small original textile artwork made from my hand-painted silk offcuts, machine-stitched together and set in a recovered wooden frame. Strips of botanical silk in red, pink, blue, purple, green and teal sit side by side like layers of a garden, joined with white zigzag stitching.

The frame was rescued and repainted in bright green with botanical patterns and gold details, so nothing goes to waste. Made in my London studio as part of my no-waste practice, this one-of-a-kind piece arrives framed and ready to hang. A lovely textile art gift or a first original for your collection.
