Full Moonstera | 16” Shamanic Drum by Ingrid Sanchez

Full Moonstera is a 16” shamanic drum hand-crafted and hand-finished by artist Ingrid Sanchez. Built on a natural cedar wood hoop painted in deep blue, this unique drum features a luminous white goat hide marked by a single, large monstera leaf. The light surface and bold botanical form evoke the clarity, fullness, and quiet radiance of the Full Moon.

Finished with rim lacing, the drum has a clean, intentional edge that frames the organic leaf imprint beautifully. The deep blue hoop adds contrast and depth, grounding the brightness of the hide while echoing the night sky that holds the full moon.

One side of the hide is sealed with pure beeswax to help protect the surface from humidity while honouring the natural materials.

The 3” deep frame offers a strong, resonant tone ideal for meditation, ritual, energy work, or ceremonial practice. Created with respect for natural materials and a deep appreciation for plant symbolism and lunar cycles, this drum carries the expansive, illuminating energy of the Full Moon, inviting clarity, presence, and connection.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

This drum is crafted from natural materials, wood and hide that respond to temperature and humidity. In damp or cold weather, the hide may soften. If this happens, gently warm the drum before playing (near your body, in a warm room, briefly in indirect sunlight, or using a hair dryer on a low, warm setting) to restore tension and tone.
